SEEKING: ASSISTANT MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES: Working closely with the store manager in all aspects of the store’s day-to-day operations.
*Running the store in the manager’s absence.
*Photographing and preparing product images for use on the website and in email promotions.
*Working with the manager to brainstorm marketing campaigns and then design email blasts.
*Processing, packing, and shipping orders when needed.
*Handling customer service issues and taking phone orders.
*Tracking shipping and office supply inventories and placing orders with vendors.
*Special projects, administrative, and clerical duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate must be reliable, organized, have good communication skills and a pleasant phone manner, possess a strong work ethic, be willing and able to learn new skills, be a good team player, have the ability to multi-task, and be comfortable working in an open-plan office space.
Basic computer skills are essential. Proficiency in Photoshop is required, as the assistant manager is responsible for creating marketing emails, and photographing and cleaning product shots for the website. Some knowledge of basic HTML coding is helpful. A background in retail sales and customer service is preferred. References are required.
PAY: The position is salaried at $45K plus annual bonus. Benefits include paid sick days, vacation days, and health insurance
