WHO: Merry-Go-Round Playhouse
SEEKING: Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, a multiple venue, musical theatre producing company, seeks an Assistant to the Producing Director for its exciting 2012 summer season. Seeking an outgoing and personable graduate student of a Directing Program who is extremely organized and ready to handle anything.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will provide close up experience in producing a large range musical performances while working with artists from AEA, AFM, USA and SDC. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to keeping track of the Producing Director’s schedule, appearing at meetings and corporate functions, and some note taking. Possibility of travel and opportunities for later advancement within the Company.
REQUIREMENTS: Experience in multiple aspects of musical theatre and production a plus. Personal vehicle recommended.
WHEN: Contract runs from May through October.
PAY: Competitive
