Associate General Manager
WHO: Signature Theatre Company, Associate General Manager
SEEKING: Signature Theatre Company is seeking to fill the new position of Associate General Manager to support the company’s expanded programming and operations at Signature Center. The Associate General Manager will help lead contract negotiations, production budget creation and administration, and all facility rental management at Signature Center. This position will oversee the Company Manager.
RESPONSIBLITIES: Draft and negotiate contracts for Directors, Actors, Designers, and other artistic personnel; correspond and maintain relationships with artist representatives to ensure timely communication. Participate in collective bargaining with unions; concession requests; union reporting and bonding. Create, manage and reconcile production budgets with production department. Field all rental inquiries for Signature Center; negotiate and approve all rental contracts and payment schedules; help create and manage rental policies; coordinate scheduling and staffing of rentals
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or above and at least two years of professional experience in a related field. Candidates must be a strong team leader, work well under pressure, and possess excellent written and financial skills. Experience with accounting, union regulations, and contract negotiations preferred.
PAY: Salary commensurate with experience
