Asst. to the Associate Producer – The Public Theater

WHO: The Public Theater

SEEKING: Assistant to the Associate Producer

RESPONSIBILTIES: Responsibilities include but are not limited to facilitating telephone, email and other correspondence with all parties involved with productions, scheduling meetings and keeping the associate producer’s calendar. Opportunities are available to work on creating budgets for productions and events, organize specific events related to the productions, and covering, as a representative of the associate producer department, technical rehearsals, previews and meetings in order to take notes for and disseminate information from the Associate Producer.

REQUIREMENTS:  Candidates should possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, be highly organized and detail oriented, and have the ability to work in the fast-pace of a professional theater environment. Professional theater experience is a must, but not necessarily in theater administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook is a plus. A sense of humor is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an interest in theater producing. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits.
