Casting Internship
WHO: MelCap Casting
SEEKING: MelCap Casting is seeking a full-time casting intern for the winter/spring.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include heavy phone work, calling out and confirming appointments, putting together casting sessions, filing, tracking and documenting avails, data entry, Starbucks runs, etc.
REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking candidates with some level of casting/talent agency experience but will consider candidates with strong office skills, a good attitude, and a genuine interest in casting. Candidates with good senses of humor and an ability to roll with the punches strongly favored. Responsibilities are high, stipend is low. We love actors, but are not seeking intern applicants who are pursuing acting as a career. Commitment is 5 days a week from 10 – 6. Ideal candidates will be available from January 2nd through June. Please specify any pre-existing conflicts in cover letter.
