Development Administrator – La Jolla Playhouse

WHO: La Jolla Playhouse

SEEKING: DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Development Administrator records and tracks all donor information including gifts, event attendance, research, and solicitation efforts. S/he also maintains the donor database in Tessitura; generating income analysis, event attendance, mailings, and telefundraising reports; performs data analysis; maintains acknowledgment procedures for foundation, special event, individual, and corporate gifts. S/he works in conjunction with the IT Department to customize the database and reports to meet development’s needs; works with the Finance Department to reconcile income reports and to assist with the annual audit. The Administrator will be proactive in exploring the database’s capabilities and making recommendations about optimal use relative to development goals.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of two years of database management and development experience highly desired. Preferably with experience and familiarity with Tessitura or similar donor database. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills.
