WHO: TADA! Youth Theater
SEEKING: Part-Time Development Assistant
RESPONSIBILITIES: -Cultivating Individual Donors—includes executing 2-3 Direct Mail Appeals each year; ongoing Major Donor research; Individual donation tracking and processing acknowledgment letters.
-Database Work—includes inputting all contributed income details into fundraising database (custom made, based on a Microsoft Access platform); Pulling Funder Lists for Appeals and House Programs; and general Database maintenance.
-Special Events—includes helping to organize one major gala event, as well as multiple cultivation events throughout the season.
-Participating in the identification, research, cultivation and solicitation of various Institutional funding sources. Includes gathering supporting materials for grant applications and final reports, and maintaining records.
REQUIREMENTS:-1-3 years experience in development and/or related administrative experience is preferred (substantial knowledge and interest in Development is a MUST).
-Interest, experience and aptitude in dealing with Board members and other high-profile donors in a polished, professional manner.
-Willingness to be flexible regarding duties as this is a small organization, and it is required of all staff to participate in other aspects of the organization.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Access specifically)
-Reliable, organized, detail-oriented & able to multi-task; Self-motivated; and excellent writing and communication skills.
PAY: $15-18 per hour
