WHO: HERE, the downtown performance venue that supports the work of artists at all stages in their careers through commissions, development and fully produced works
SEEKING: Full-time Development Director
RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops yearly contributed income goals with Artistic and Producing Directors, Strategizes project-specific funding plans in concert with Artistic and Producing Directors, Conducts prospect research and outreach to identify potential funding opportunities, Collaborates with the team to create individual giving strategies and campaigns and to organize benefits and cultivation events for HERE
REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must have knowledge of and experience navigating federal, state and local government funding sources; local and national foundations and their funding priorities; and corporate funding possibilities. Candidate must be highly detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent writing and communication capabilities. He/she must demonstrate a true interest in fundraising and the requisite creative thinking and leadership skills to excel on behalf of the organization. Required skills include full capability with MS Word and Excel, preferably in a Mac environment; ability to navigate online forms, surveys, and pdfs; and facility with viewing and preparing work samples in a variety of formats.

PAY: Salary is commensurate with experience and standards for an organization of HERE’s size. Health insurance provided after provisional period.
