WHO: Transport Group: Director of Development
SEEKING: Transport Group seeks a Director of Development to create and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the company and to lead and oversee on-going fundraising operations. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial, creative and resourceful development professional to make a significant impact on a growing theatre company with a strong reputation and passionate support base.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director of Development will work closely with the Executive Director, Artistic Director, and the Board of Directors to define and achieve the organization’s fundraising goals through donor cultivation and solicitation planning, private and government grants, fundraising events, and other contributed income-generating activities.
REQUIREMENTS: Passionate theatre-lover and professional, ideally familiar with TG’s productions. Familiarity with foundations, corporations, and individuals that support theatre. Experience in creating and implementing fundraising strategies and achieving fundraising goals; grant writing; fundraising events; managing and supporting solicitations.
