SEEKING:  Executive Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Provide administrative and organizational support to the Executive Director and to act as a liaison to SDC’s Executive Board. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: scheduling, preparation of meetings, (space and materials) coordination of communication systems such as conference calls, video conferencing and Skype, taking of minutes, filing and general office support. Other duties include travel arrangements for Executive Director and Board Members as well as the staffing of Board Committees, ad hoc committees, events and retreats. Research and special project work as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 5 years administrative experience, including some experience assisting positions of leadership required. Must be detail oriented and thrive in a dynamic, multi-tasked environment. Excellent written and verbal skills, including proof reading required. Must have demonstrated experience working with discretion and enthusiasm in an office environment. Knowledge of theatre helpful but not required. Experience with smart phones, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and a high comfort level with technology required.
