WHO: Davenport Theatrical Enterprises
SEEKING: Davenport Theatrical Enterprises is currently seeking a part-time Office Intern, full-time Intern to the Creative Director, and a full-time or part-time Awesome 80s Prom Intern for the fall internship term.
RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
Office Intern:
The Office Intern will work in all areas of the office. Ideal for those who are new to the business and looking to gain experience at a theatre office. Duties include running errands and other office clerical work.
Positions available: Part-time Monday through Friday (Ideally 2-6pm).
Intern to the Creative Director:
The Intern to the Creative Director works alongside the department of Internet Marketing. He or she will produce site updates and new content for BroadwaySpace.com, DidHeLikeIt.com, BestOfOffBroadway.com, and 20at20.com. This includes the creation and publication of articles and features, evaluation of Broadway and Off-Broadway reviews, and execution of site contests. The Intern also aids in the editing and designing of new show materials and graphics. Solid editing skills a must.
Positions available: One full-time.
Awesome 80s Prom Intern:
The Awesome 80s Prom intern works directly with the Company Manager/Group Sales Director of The Awesome 80s Prom. The internship experience includes coordinating groups, party planning, customer service, and assisting in daily office duties. There is also the opportunity to gain valuable hands on experience assisting at the Prom on Saturday nights. Candidates must have a friendly phone demeanor, the ability to take initiative, be familiar with Microsoft Office, and have strong communication skills.
Positions available: One full-time or part-time with Saturday availability.
WHEN: Immediate start date required.
PAY: A stipend is paid upon successful completion of the internship term.
