SEEKING: General Management Interns

RESPONSIBILITIES:  The internship includes hands on experience with the management of Broadway shows and National Tours. In addition to daily phone/fax/mail tasks, filing, errands, and computer assignments, interns will have the opportunity to participate/follow through with various special assignments and events throughout the semester.

REQUIREMENTS:  Necessary skills include: ability to multi-task, excellent phone manners, and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel. Previous office experience required. Interns must be self-motivated, responsible, well-spoken, organized, detail oriented, and computer literate. They must have an interest in the management side of commercial theatre. Recent college graduates as well as current students (graduate and undergrad) are welcome to apply.

ABOUT: Our program offers an intensive comprehensive look at commercial theatre management and producing. Interns are able to shadow company managers for all of our productions in New York, as well as observe other aspects of the business including stage management, advertising and marketing.
