WHO: New York Stage and Film
SEEKING: Full-time General Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES: Year-round, GM will be responsible for the company’s daily administrative and financial affairs including bookkeeping (accounts receivable/payable, bank and credit card reconciliation); payroll; insurance; working with SAF’s accountants on annual audit. GM will work with Artistic Director to create and manage annual operating budget, as well as project-specific budgets. In addition, GM will be involved in execution of annual gala.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must possess excellent written/oral communication skills; organizational talents; knowledge of the New York theater community; and previous management experience. Quickbooks experience preferred. Candidate must also be able to work as a team with year-round and summer staff; manage multiple projects and deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment; and have a passion for new plays.
