SEEKING: Membership Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Membership Manager will work very closely with the Director of Development as well as the Artistic and Producing Directors and the entire Irish Rep team. As an important member of the Development Department, the primary responsibilities of the Membership Manager include:

•Maintaining and enhancing the services of The Irish Repertory Theatre’s patron membership program

•Maintaining renewal memberships while cultivating new members

•Enhancing the value of membership packages through direct member communications

•Executing the logistics of the theatre’s individual giving program

•Coordinating, executing, and attending special patron appreciation evenings

•Working with members of the Board of Directors and key staff to execute the theatre’s Annual Benefit Gala

•Assisting the Director of Development in the creation of the theatre’s annual development plan, specifically providing input on the development of strategy pertaining to Membership and Individual Giving

In addition, like all members of the Irish Rep team, this post will contribute to the general administrative support for the institution in its entirety.

REQUIREMENTS: Those interested in applying should have experience working in the performing arts (preferably in development for theatre), a bachelor’s degree, advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience working with a fundraising database and theatre ticketing system, superior written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, the ability to effectively multi-task, and absolutely must be a team player in an energetic office environment. Knowledge of FundRaisier Professional and OvationTix is a plus.
