National Marketing Director – Touring

WHO: The Madison Square Garden Company.

SEEKING: National Mareting Director

RESPONSIBILITIES: The National Marketing Director will develop, implement, manage and oversee comprehensive marketing plans in 3-4 US markets per year for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. He/she will develop overall marketing plans with customizations for each individual market, including specific outlines for: media, group sales, direct marketing, grassroots, national/local promotions and 3rd party partnerships.
The National Marketing Director will serve as day-to-day general manager and liaison with each local market’s representatives, including theater/arena GM, Marketing Dir, Group Sales Agent, Box Office.

REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will have 10-12+ years experience in marketing, sales and sponsorship preferably in an entertainment related field, “hands on” experience in selling national and local promotions and sponsorship sales, managing media agencies, group sales, public relations and event presentation activities and experience in inter-relating with operating groups and corporate structures and policies.
