NYMF GENERAL MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP
WHO: The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF)
SEEKING: General Management Intern to start immediately
RESPONSIBILITIES: interns work with the General Management department which oversees all administrative aspects of the Festival including managing participant contracts, verifying sales and settlements, and coordinating the schedules of over 40 full productions and special events across a 3 week period. Interns play a key support role to this administrative oversight throughout the Festival. Tasks include uploading resource content to our website to communicate with participating productions, maintain online database of participants, patrons, and members, and conduct research on a variety of topics pertaining to Festival logistics.
REQUIREMENTS: An understanding of the advanced function of MS Word and Excel is a must, as are strong communication skills with an ability to see a project through from start to finish, and a sense of humor. Experience with database systems, ticketing systems, and website maintenance is a plus.
PAY: Stipend
