WHO: Playscripts, Inc.

SEEKING: Marketing Director

RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and/or execute direct mail campaigns, print advertising, promotional products, and press. Oversee and/or execute web design, online advertising campaigns, email marketing campaigns, and search engine optimization. Maintain company blog and social media outlets. Project-manage the design, printing, and shipment of the annual print catalog, including acquisition, compilation, and maintenance of company mailing lists. Represent the company at several trade shows and festivals throughout the country. Develop and execute market research. Oversee and execute sales and strategic alliances with core customers. Recruit and manage marketing-related freelance contractors, including graphic designers, web designers, marketing consultants, and press reps. Oversee departmental annual budget. 

REQUIREMENTS: Significant work experience in print, online and social media marketing. Excellent copywriting and verbal communications skills. Discerning eye for excellent graphic design and snappy ad copy. Proficiency with standard word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browsing software. Proficiency with standard graphic design software. Touch-typing proficiency (at least 60 words per minute). Preferred: theater interest and experience,publishing interest and experience, facility with spreadsheets, web development facility and experience.
