Production & Arts Management Internship
WHO: Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment
SEEKING: Nederlander Worldwide, an entertainment company located in Times Square, seeks a Mandarin Chinese speaking individual for a production and general management internship.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, creating and updating sponsorship & marketing materials, doing background research for future theatrical endeavors, assisting with events, helping to maintain office organization and general office duties. The majority of the internship will focus on the planning and supporting of cultural exchange programs between Nederlander Worldwide and Asia, including training programs and productions.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have excellent speaking & writing skills in both English and Mandarin. Must be able to do written translations from English to Mandarin, and Mandarin to English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (strong Excel & PowerPoint skills a must). Outstanding phone skills. Strong organizational skills and work ethic. Strong analytical skills. Must be detail oriented. An enthusiasm for and understanding of the commercial theater industry. Candidate must be available 15-20 hours per week.
