SEEKING: Project Manager for TRANE: BEYOND THE BLUES ~ the life and legacy of John Coltrane

RESPONSIBILITIES: The qualified individual will take responsibility for leading management team attending to all non-artistic aspects of the project, be a mature individual with high ethical standards, effective interpersonal skills, and  a sense of humor. Treating people with respect is essential. Oversee community outreach that will translate into community involvement, a significant goal of this project. Work closely with the Artistic Director to establish and maintain operational objectives for the project, including a sound financial plan and an equitable compensation schedule. Be current with the Detroit of 2010. 

REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for a creative individual who welcomes challenge and the opportunity to work in the collaborative process of theatre production. This position requires excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and determination. Adherence to transparent financial recordkeeping is a must.
