Projects and Facilities Coordinator – NYU’s The New Studio
WHO: The New Studio on Broadway in the Department
of Drama, Undergraduate, at the Tisch School of the Arts/NYU.
SEEKING: A TEMPORARY (6 months), PART-TIME (20
hrs/wk) Projects and Facilities Coordinator, with an option to renew (and which
may evolve into a permanent position after the first semester or first year).
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: proper maintenance,
scheduling and use of three dance/movement studios, two vocal classrooms, eight
acting studios, eight private voice studios, including three as performance
venues, and all theatrical equipment used herein.
REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree in
theater arts. Experience: Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in production,
theater and/or stage management, administering budgets, supervising staff or an
equivalent combination. Knowledge, skills and abilities: Strong organizational
skills, excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills,
familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet programs.
