WHO: Richard Kornberg and Associates
SEEKING: Public Relations Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties will include but not be limited to, assisting with servicing daily press clippings, compiling and proofreading information for press releases and Playbills, attending and helping cover media events, interviews and promotional appearances by Broadway cast members, running errands around the Times Square area, helping with administrative duties around the office (including answering a busy switchboard) and providing general assistance to press agents with the ongoing maintenance of their shows. Scheduling is extremely flexible, part-time is OK.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must be detail-oriented fast-learners with a genuine interest and knowledge of theatre and/or dance a plus, superior organization and writing skills, professional phone manner, outgoing personality, working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop a plus.
WHEN: 10/1/2012
PAY: This is an unpaid internship, but interns receive complimentary tickets to shows handled by the office. School credit can also be arranged.
