Publications Associate – Signature Theatre Company
PUBLICATIONS ASSOCIATE POSITION
Signature Theatre is seeking to fill the position of Publications Associate. Signature recently opened The Pershing Square Signature Center, its Frank Gehry-designed home which houses three theatres, two rehearsal studios, café and bar, bookstore and administrative offices. Signature produces 7-9 shows annually, written by a diverse group of playwrights and intended for a wide variety of audiences.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager and working closely with the Company’s graphic designer, printers and other members of the Signature staff, the Publications Associate is instrumental in the development and execution of all printed and digital collateral for the theatre. This position will traffic and coordinate the design, editorial and printing processes for all designed materials, including, but not limited to, production-specific marketing materials, advertisements, Signature’s quarterly magazine, subscription, patron brochures, Gala materials, rental publications and more.
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or above. Candidates must work well under pressure, possess excellent writing and editorial skills, be familiar with design vocabulary, and most importantly be detail oriented, well-organized and excel at managing deadlines. Knowledge of printing processes and experience with Photoshop, InDesign and Adobe Illustrator is not requited, but is preferred.
