Who won the seat to my seminar?
When I was about 15 years old, I started writing a musical version of Oedipus Rex. I even wrote a letter to Andrew Lloyd Webber suggesting that he should write the music for it (in hindsight, I guess that was my first pitch letter). Someone from his office actually wrote back, telling me that The Lord Webber couldn’t accept an unsolicited idea. At least I did get the autographed photo of Lord Webber and his wife, Sarah Brightman, that I had requested. 🙂
My early start may be why I chose APRIL ROSE GABRIELLI as the winner for the free seat to my Get Your Show Off The Ground seminar! Congrats, April!
See, April is 18 years old. And if that doesn’t impress you, get this . . . she started writing her musical when she was 12.
Oh, and she got it produced last summer.
And she’s casting for a second production this summer.
And she blogs about it.
And she was the very first person to respond to the contest.
And she’s 18.
Did I say that already?
Congratulations, April. We’ll see you on April 2nd. Send me an email, and I’ll send you the details.
For those of you who entered but didn’t win, thank you so much for your passion. I was amazed at how many people wanted this spot, and I promise I’ll do another giveaway like it in the future. In the meantime, watch your inbox, entrants, I’ve got a special something for you.
There are just a few spots left for the April 2nd seminar. All the previous seminars have sold out, so don’t wait. Sign up today. And remember, the seminars are guaranteed!
