WHO: Children's Theatre Company
SEEKING: Assistant Directors and or choreographers for CTC LONG ISLAND and / OR CTC MANHATTAN Flagship Chapter.
RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to directing children and youth, ranging from 5 to 19 years old, candidate must have the ability to work collaboratively and amicably within a fast-paced environment with a community of artists, interns and parents.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have knowledge of musical theater and strong movement (preferred). Individual must have excellent organizational and management skills, working within a multi-disciplinary program with a desire to experience new ways of producing theatre rooted in character and social studies education. We are seeking an individual with a deep passion for the arts-as-a-catalyst-for-social change- through theater, music and movement, and a deep love and belief in children as voices of positive change. Applicants must be fun, upbeat, and resilient. We look for artists who have a commitment to character and ethical education through the arts, incorporating unity in diversity in all of its forms, whether race, ethnicity, or religious tolerance.

PAY: Stipends $200 – $1200
