Broadway roared back this week, with total grosses jumping 12.24% to $36.77M and attendance rising to 272,806, driven by a surge in spring demand and a wave of high-profile previews hitting the boards. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child once again led the pack with a commanding $2.64M, while Hamilton followed with $2.40M at full capacity. The Lion King crossed the $2M mark, climbing $293K to $2.01M, as Wicked rebounded $226K to $1.95M. Just in Time continued to lead in pricing power, grossing $1.87M with a remarkable $328 average ticket and capacity exceeding 103% in the show’s final weeks with Jonathan Groff.

A number of shows posted strong week-over-week gains. Giant surged $310K in previews to $1.06M, while Every Brilliant Thing jumped $247K to $1.36M at full capacity. Dog Day Afternoon added $153K to $1.21M, and The Great Gatsby rose $157K to $1.22M. Among long-running musicals, Aladdin (+$200K), MJ (+$153K), and Moulin Rouge! The Musical (+$149K) all benefited from the upswing. Compared to the same week last season, grosses were down 1.84%, though overall momentum remains strong as the spring season ramps up.
