Announcing . . . The Producing 101 Tele-Seminar!

Remember that time I asked you all What Your Greatest Problem was?

I got so many responses to that blog from people who said they were interested in producing theater, but they didn’t know where to start!

And so many of you said you were interested in taking one of my seminars, but that you didn’t live in NYC.

When I read all these comments, I realized that I had kind of let you guys down, and for that, I’m sorry.  I’ve got Get Your Show Off The Ground seminars and How to Raise Money seminars, but those are all more advanced educational opportunities.  They are for people that already have projects.  And they are all here in NYC.

What I didn’t have was an overall Producing primer for people just starting out, or for people that need a reminder of the basics.

Until now . . .

I’m proud to announce the Producing 101 Tele-Seminar (or as I like to call it:  Producing for Dummies)!

Yep, that’s right, y’all . . . this seminar is different than all my others.  It’s going to take place on the phone . . . conference call style, which means anyone can take it, no matter where you are in the world.  So if you’ve been waiting to take one of my seminars because you couldn’t get to NYC, this is the one to jump in on.

Here’s how it’s going to work:

The tele-seminar is going to take place on three successive Wednesday Evenings with the following syllabus:

Session #1:  Finding Your Project – Wednesday, April 9th, 7-8 PM
Session #2:  Funding Your Project – Wednesday, April 16th, 7-8 PM
Session #3:  Filling Your Seats/Marketing Your Project – Wednesday, April 23rd, 7-8 PM

And don’t worry, if you can’t make all the sessions, each one will be recorded and will be available for you the next day.

In addition to my lecture on each of the subjects above, each session will include a general Q&A to help with your specific issues as you embark on your pursuit of producing, whether that’s on Broadway, Off Broadway, or in your own backyard.  You’ll learn the basics of how to get started, including the story of how I went from working out of my apartment on an Off Broadway show that cost $120,000 to producing $10 million dollar musicals.

Like all my other seminars, this one is guaranteed.  And, because it’s a primer and because I want more and more people out there producing theater (the more theater, the better!), I’ve made it cheaper than all my other seminars as well.  This seminar was originally priced at $199.  But because it’s the “world premiere” teleseminar, I’m only charging $99.  The next one will bounce back up to the full price so register and save today.

Click here to learn more and to register . . . and I look forward to talking to you all soon, especially those of you from outside of NYC!

UPDATE:  The seminar has ended, but it is now available as a book, including a recording of the seminar.  Click here to purchase Producing 101 and learn the three fundamentals today!
