Broadway Grosses w/e 2/15/2026

Broadway surged over Presidents’ Day week, with total grosses jumping 11.30% to $33.58M and attendance reaching 246,718, buoyed by holiday traffic and the final days of NYC Broadway Week. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child once again led the board, climbing $343K to $2.68M, followed by Hamilton ($2.20M, +$349K) and Wicked, which posted one of the week’s largest gains, soaring $428K to $2.02M. The Lion King also rebounded sharply, up $405K to $1.92M, while The Great Gatsby delivered the biggest dollar increase of the week, rising $453K to $1.27M.

Elsewhere, MJ (+$351K), Hell’s Kitchen (+$311K), Moulin Rouge! The Musical (+$267K), and Hadestown (+$265K, above 100% capacity) all benefited from the holiday lift, while Just in Time remained Broadway’s top-priced ticket at $1.46M with a $259 average paid admission and 102% capacity. Chess ($1.59M) and Aladdin ($1.30M) stayed solid. Marjorie Prime closed February 15 with $405K in its final frame. Compared to the same week last season, grosses were up 19.34%, signaling strong year-over-year momentum heading into the spring stretch.

Presidents’ Day weekend fell within this week (Week 38). Please note that last season, Presidents’ Day weekend fell within the next week (Week 39).
WICKED had four performances with 1,807 seats and four performances with 1,926 seats this week, for a total capacity of 14,932. As this report cannot accommodate both capacities, the number of seats is
displayed as 1,867.
