Broadway Grosses w/e 7/12/2026

Broadway bounced back sharply this week, with total grosses climbing 12.17% to $32.90M and attendance jumping to 272,464 as summer tourism hit its stride across a leaner 32-production roster. Hamilton led all shows at $2.15M at just over 100% capacity, while Death of a Salesman remained close behind at $2.09M on a seven-performance week to a sold-out Winter Garden. The Lion King held strong at $1.94M, MJ climbed $156K to $1.73M, and The Lost Boys surged $275K to $1.38M. Ragtime continued its impressive summer run at $1.55M to a full Beaumont, and Schmigadoon! jumped $166K to $1.07M. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child ticked up $141K to $1.58M, and Joe Turner’s Come and Gone had a standout week, surging $272K to $1.09M at nearly 98% capacity.

Among the week’s other notable movers, Wicked jumped $242K to $1.25M, Moulin Rouge! The Musical rebounded $216K to $888K, and Proof surged $277K to $843K at over 100% capacity. The Great Gatsby climbed $170K to $798K, The Outsiders rose $185K to $962K, and Six: The Musical gained $135K to $580K as summer audiences broadened demand across the roster. Oh, Mary! eased $492K to a sturdy $1.04M in the week following Maya Rudolph’s departure. Compared to the same week last season, grosses were essentially flat at up just 0.27%.
