Broadway Grosses w/e 8/2/2026

Broadway dipped slightly to $33.89M week-over-week but continued its strong year-over-year trajectory, running 12.73% ahead of the same week last season with attendance up 11.36%. Hamilton led all shows at $2.36M at just over 101% capacity, while Death of a Salesman held steady at $2.22M on a seven-performance week to a sold-out Winter Garden. The Lion King grossed $2.16M, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child held near $1.90M. Ragtime had a standout week, jumping $262K to $1.89M at a full Beaumont, once again breaking box office records at the Vivian Beaumont.Meanwhile, MJ commanded a strong $1.86M. Cats: The Jellicle Ball surged $216K to $1.41M at over 101% capacity, and The Lost Boys held firm at $1.52M. Wicked grossed $1.41M, Schmigadoon! held near $1.15M, and Aladdin climbed $61K to $1.39M as summer demand remained broad across the roster. Hadestown crossed 101% capacity at $939K, and The Outsiders stayed just over 100% capacity at $1.04M.
