Broadway Grosses w/e 12/8/2019: Ain’t Too Proud Heats Up the Box Office
Most shows saw six-figure drops last weeks as the overall box office dipped by 8%. Bucking the trend, however, was Ain’t Too Proud who managed a $113k increase which was a box office record at the Imperial.
Several shows heading into final weeks managed to stay steady and Tootsie capitalized on its closing weeks by jumping $217k.
