Broadway Grosses* w/e 2/12/2017 – Look on the Bright Side.
Greetings Gross Fans!
I know this looks like a large drop to you…and it is. But it also means good things for next week. Besides the large snowstorm that hit our streets on Thursday, closing schools and causing people to cancel their tickets for the evening, this time last year was President’s weekend. You can see in this post that means good things are coming for us next week.
A few shows including A Bronx Tale, Aladdin, Dear Evan Hansen, Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, The Book of Mormon, The Lion King and Sunset Boulevard (which broke $1 million this week) weathered Thursday’s storm just fine and are up from last week. Hamilton dropped a bit and fell below the $3 million mark.
So get ready for some booming numbers next week Fans, as lots of tourists take the time to visit our city for their three day weekend.
