Broadway Grosses* w/e 4/2/2017 – Rising with the Temperature
Greeting Gross Fans!
The temperatures are up and so are the grosses . . .
We’re in that beat-the-Tony-deadline crunch time right now, which means new shows are adding to our weekly till, and we’re still experiencing the wonders of Spring Break weeks (it feels like kids these days get a whole month off!).
All this plus Sara Bareilles stepping into Waitress, Better Midler pulling in over $2mm on a 7 show week at Hello, Dolly!, and Christine Ebersole and Patti LuPone packing ’em in at War Paint has me singing, “Thank heaven . . . for big divas!”
I’m guessing we’ve got two more weeks of the good stuff to come until the Easter Bunny comes and steals back some of his eggs.
