Broadway Grosses* w/e 6/11/2017 – And the grosses must go on!
Hey, Gross Fans!
With all the Tony Award hoopla this past Sunday night, I almost forget that there were 35 shows running!
All the hype around the upcoming Tonys also gave us a nice healthy boost up from last week. Seven shows had great weeks and surpassed their gross potential, including Waitress which got one final “Bareilles Bump” as the pop-star turned Composer belted out her last few notes from the Brooks Atkinson theater for awhile. And with tourists starting to flood the streets (have you tried to walk through Times Square recently?), grosses should stay high . . . especially for those shows that went home with a certain Anthony on Sunday night, if you know what I mean.
