Broadway Grosses w/e 6/30/2019: Moulin Rouge! Dazzles
Broadway grosses held steady last week at $36M. Despite some dips, many shows bounced after announcing final playing weeks.
Most notably, and new on the scene, is Moulin Rouge! which really popped with an average ticket price of $237. That translated into a $618K gross for two performances at Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
