Broadway Grosses w/e 9/9/2018: Six-Figure Slumps
Grosses continued to slide another 8 percent this week coming off summer and holiday highs, falling to $29.5M. With the same number of shows on the boards, houses were $85% full. However, due to many heavily discounted Broadway Week tickets, shows only managed an average ticket price of $118.
Many shows felt six-figure drops this week, but Summer and Anastasia managed to beat the odds and post healthy increases.
