WHO: Gallery Players

SEEKING: The Gallery Players in Park Slope is seeking designers, stage managers, an ASM, directors and associate producers for its upcoming Black Box New Play festival in June 2012.

The festival is seeking three stage managers. Two positions involve stage managing full-length plays. Rehearsals for these begin early-to-mid May with performances from June 14th through June 24th. The third position is for a PSM who will have responsabilty for the two weekends of short plays. That position will begin towards the end of May through June 14th. In addition an ASM is being sought for the festival. Small stipends available.

The festival is also seeking a sound designer, a lighting designer and a set coordinator. The sound designer will provide any sound needed for the plays as well as sound/music as we transition from one play to the next. The set coordinator will consult with directors about what set pieces will be needed and maintain quality control for the overall on stage look of the festival. Small stipends available.

Also seeking associate producers who will work with the festival’s lead producer. These individuals need to be organized, enthusiastic and able to work under pressure. Small stipends available.
