General Technician/Carpenter/Props/Stage Crew – Gateway Playhouse
WHO: Gateway Playhouse, Long Island's Premier Musical Theater, celebrating it's upcoming 61st season, is an equity stock theater located 55 miles east of New York City in picturesque Bellport Village, Long Island, just steps ways from the Great South Bay. Gateway Produces a summer season of 6 musicals performed in one of two venues: our own 500 seat Gateway Playhouse, and the 1200 seat Patchogue Theater. In additon, we produce our own Children's Theater production and book-in up to four touring children's productions.
SEEKING: General Technicians. General technicians will be a part of our
experienced 2010 crew with a background and competency in the ares of
carpentry, scenic painting, props, and/or electrics. Technicians will
work in one concentration, although assignments could vary with each
production, including the possibility of run crew responsibilities.
SALARY: $400/Week + Housing
