Production Manager – Theatre for a New Audience

WHO: Theatre for a New Audience, an award-winning Off-Broadway LORT D classical theatre company, seeks an experienced Production Manager. PM will work closely with Artistic Director and General Manager to plan and realize three to four major productions seasonally (both presentations and original productions) and will be responsible for delivering quality production values within authorized budgets.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:  Coordinating and supervising all production operations; track production budgets; approve production expenditures; with Artistic Director and General Manager, approve scenery, lighting, sound and costume designs for all shows in terms of technical and budgetary feasibility; hiring, supervising, and administrating all production staff. Requirements: experience in presenting and producing; demonstrated ability to work closely with and support artists at all stages of their careers; established relationships with NY area shops and technical personnel; team player; organized and detail oriented; excellent communication skills.

COMPENSATION: Competitive fee, per production.
