The State of The State of Broadway in 2024

During the pandemic, I held a quarterly Zoom for my Broadway Investors and Co-Producers called The State of the State of Broadway.

We compared the current grosses to past grosses.  We talked about the latest marketing initiatives to get the audiences back to the theater.  We discussed what was coming to Broadway and made predictions for the future.  We even gossiped a bit.

Lately, a lot of folks on social have been asking me for my thoughts on Broadway’s current “state”.  So, I thought I’d open up my next presentation to you!

We are making theater in interesting times, my friends.  And it’s important for us all to look at how we’re doing, what trends we’re seeing, and what we can do to make more and better theater for the future.

So, on July 17, 2024 at 5pm ET, I’m hosting a presentation on Zoom called “The State of the State of Broadway in 2024”.  And you are invited.

Join me for this State of the State where I’ll break down:

  • How are we doing at the box office compared to the “before times”?
  • Has the demographic on Broadway changed? How?
  • What’s working . . . and where is it coming from?
  • The forecast for the 2024-25 season.
  • And more.

It’ll only be about 30-40 minutes.  And I’ll leave a good chunk of time for questions as well.

The presentation is totally free.  No catch.  Just conversation.  My only hope is that it helps you make a show or see a show.

Register for the “State of the State of Broadway in 2024” presentation.

See you there.
