The Sunday Giveaway: 2 Tickets to see AMERICAN IDIOT on Broadway.

Ok, so I’m driving home to see a production of Urinetown at my high school alma mater this weekend, and a song pops on the top 40 radio station I was listening to.

The song was “Good Riddance [Time of Your Life]” by Green Day.

For a second, I thought, “Huh, there’s an American Idiot song playing on the radio.

And, of course, that’s not what the Station Manager thought when he picked the song for the playlist.

But who cares . . . to have a song that is featured in a major Broadway musical featured prominently on a pop music station is pretty awesome, don’t you think?

And if you haven’t seen the major Broadway musical also known as American Idiot, then put on your black mascara and buy some skinny jeans beause this may be your chance.

This week we’re giving away 2 tickets to see American Idiot on the Broadway!

Want to win?  Here’s how . . .

But this week, instead of commenting “Pick Me!  Pick me!” . . . I want you to tell me what musical theater song you think should be heard on the radio but wasn’t.  Make sense?  There was a time when musical theater tunes crossed over . . . not so much anymore.  In fact the flow has reversed.  So what song do you think was good enough to make it on the pop charts . . . but didn’t.

Comment away!  And good luck!  (Email subscribers, click hereto reach the comment section so you can enter.)
