WHO: Bentley Meeker Lighting and Staging

       SEEKING:Bentley Meeker Lighting and Staging, a leader in NYC’s event industry, is currently looking for freelance Lighting and Audio/Video shop personnel for its Spring 2011 season. This position is ideal for  anyone looking to start out in the events industry.

       RESPONSIBILITIES:
        –Prepping and putting away lighting and audio/video equipment
        -Loading prepped gear into trucks before it goes to a jobsite
        -Unloading gear from trucks when it returns from the jobsite
        -Checking gear back in from a job to make sure nothing is missing or damaged
        -Cleaning and basic maintenance of all gear when needed
        -Working as a team with other employees to complete various projects in NYC.

       REQUIREMENTS:
        -Experience with lighting, audio or video in a theatrical, touring or events related setting
        -Flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, and weekends (if necessary)
        -Experience driving 14’ box trucks in NYC a plus (clean driving record a must)
        -Must have a positive attitude, problem solving skills, and the ability to multi-task
        -Basic electrical knowledge is a plus   

       PAY: :$15/ hr
