SEEKING:Camp Musical Director 

RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB ENTAILS WORKING WITH 80-100 CHILDREN AGES 6-16 AND TEACHING MUSIC TO A CLASSIC BROADWAY MUSICAL. JOB CULMINATES IN A FULL SCALE PRODUCTION.  

REQUIREMENTS:
          You must be available the following dates/times. Each session is a different musical with “new” campers. Ideally, we are looking for one person who would be able to do the entire summer (8 weeks). A daily schedule will be provided. You will be only in charge of teaching the music to the show. Direction and Choreography are taught by other staff members. If you are applying for the whole summer, be aware that some camps overlap. In this case, part of the day will be spent working with the younger children, and some of the day will be spend working with the teenagers.

Junior A (Camp Rock) ages 6-11
Camp: Monday, June 27, 2011- Friday, July 8 (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Show: Friday, July 8, 2011 (6:30 PM- 9:00 PM)

Junior B (Aladdin) ages 6-11
Camp: Monday, July 11, 2011- Friday, July 22 (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Show: Thursday, July 21, 2011 (6:30 PM- 9:00 PM)

Junior C (Little Mermaid) ages 6-11
Camp: Monday, July 25, 2011- Friday, August 5 (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Show: Thursday, August 4, 2011 (6:30 PM- 9:00 PM)

Junior D (Wizard of Oz) ages 6-11
Camp: Monday, August 8, 2011- Friday, August 19 (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Teen A (The Wedding Singer) ages 12-16
Camp: Monday, July 11, 2011 – Friday, July 22, 2011 (9:30 AM- 4:00 PM)

Teen B (Cabaret) ages 12-16
Camp: Monday, July 25, 2011 – Friday, August 5, 2011 (9:30 AM- 4:00 PM)

Teen C (Little Shop of Horrors) ages 12-16
Camp: Monday, August 8, 2011 – Friday, August 19, 2011 (9:30 AM- 4:00 PM)
