Who won the tickets to see Allegiance on Broadway?
Someday I’m going to do a study on the correlation of a show’s success to the number of entries I get on that show’s giveaway.
Based on this week’s, Allegiance is going to do just fine because boy oh boy did we have a lot of people trying to win tickets. And with each and every one of those entries came an idea for a historical event in this country’s history that could use a little theatrical treatment. And man, are there some powerful ones here, like the life of John Brown, the story of Mary Todd Lincoln, and a musical about the Stonewall Riots.
If you like history and you like theater, this blog is like a minefield of ideas. Go get one!
And now, who won the much-sought-after tickets to see Allegiance? That would be none other than . . . Randy Turner!
Congrats, Randy! Email me to get your tickets, and enjoy the show.
And one more thing. If you’re a writer or producer or actor or artist . . . don’t just learn about history . . . go out there and make some. 🙂
