The Sunday Giveaway: Two tickets to The Call at Playwrights Horizons
We’ve got a NY Times Critics Pick to give away this week! (Good timing since we’ve talked a lot about critics recently, with Seth Godin’s blog, and mine.)
Playwrights Horizons and Primary Stages are presenting The Call, a brand new play by Tanya Barfield featuring Kelly AuCoin, Kerry Buttler and directed by my Chinglish director, Leigh Silverman.
What’s The Call about? Here’s a blurb:
When Annie and Peter decide to adopt, they come to set their sights on a child from Africa. But when the reality of this choice sinks in, it opens a well of uncertainty that speaks to their very identity as White Americans.
A topical topic, wouldn’t you say?
Marketing plays, especially dramas, can be one of the most challenging theatrical events to market.
Which is why that’s what this week’s contest is all about.
We’re going to play ad “Mad Men” (and Women)! You know what the play is about. Come up with a tag line for The Call and comment it below. My fav will win two tickets to The Call.
And maybe you’ll also win a job at an agency in town!
Good luck, all you Don Drapers and Peggys!
