POSITION: Theatrical/Live Entertainment Advertising Intern
DESCRIPTION: hofstetter+partners/agency212 is a New York-based full service advertising agency with theatrical and other live entertainment clients including Silence! The Musical; Menopause the Musical; Colin Quinn’s Long Story Short directed by Jerry Seinfeld; Trans-Siberian Orchestra; NY Gilbert & Sullivan Players, iLuminate Artist of Light; Lady Day the Musical; Tennessee Williams’ The Two-Character Play.
Intern will experience all areas of advertising in account management, media, financial, and creative areas. Multiple opportunities to sit in on client status meetings, presentations and strategic briefings. Intern will network with various industry professionals, and will assist at theatre with photo shoots and television production as needed. Intern will be responsible for assisting with account facilitation on a daily basis.
Seeking an articulate, aggressive intern with high interest in theatrical advertising and marketing for fall 2013 internship, September-December. Priority will first be given to those who are available full-time, though schedule is negotiable.
Must have strong work ethic and organizational abilities; ability to multi-task and juggle several projects simultaneously. Strong computer and excellent communication skills required. Experience in an office setting preferred.
In addition to free tickets to events, a weekly stipend and school credit can be arranged.
