POSITION: Development Manager

DESCRIPTION: Florida Studio Theatre, a LORT D regional theatre in Sarasota, FL seeks highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to join a staff of three in a highly systemized and well-established Development Department including Donor Management and campaigns. Duties include: Fundraising (Individuals—small gifts to large gifts), Budget preparation and control, donor membership and campaigns, and systems monitoring. Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience. Must have strong management and interpersonal skills. The Right candidate will have a high degree of responsibility, be achievement oriented and able to relate to a wide variety of personality types in high-end donor levels. At least 5 years of fundraising experience in the arts is a must. Clearly defined expectations and actions are set out in weekly meetings. The Development Manager answers to and works closely with the Managing Director.
