POSITION: Weekend Guest Relations Associate
DESCRIPTION:54 Below has become Broadway’s living room; a home away from home for Broadway professionals and audiences. We are a cabaret venue that provides an unforgettable New York nightlife experience, combining performances by Broadway’s best with world class dining in an elegant setting. Steps from Time Square, 54 Below has undergone a complete reinvention by multiple Tony Award-winning producers Tom Viertel, Marc Routh, Richard Frankel and Steve Baruch. 54 Below presents up to three shows nightly, and has featured world-renowned performers like Patti Lupone, Laura Benanti, Steve Kazee, Matthew Morrison, Brain d’arcy James, Sherie Rene Scott, Norbert Leo Butz, and many more.
54 Below is currently seeking a weekend guest relations associate to fulfill a multitude of ticketing and customer service responsibilities.
Desired Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program.
·Administrative skills including a basic knowledge of Googledocs, Microsoft Word and Excel. Opentable, Positouch, Ticketweb, and other box office/customer service experience a plus.
·Comfortable on phones, and handling cash and
credit card transactions.
·Ability to prioritize, and juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
·A strong and focused work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for theatre.
Responsibilities:
·Candidate will be expected to create, track, and
refund ticket orders.
·Will be expected to develop an extensive knowledge of 54 Below cancellation and seating policies, discount codes, ticket/minimum pricing, menu items, and general information.
·Process credit card transactions, and track in house sales.
·Maintain various Googledocs for the club in regards to waitlists, vouchers, marketing promotions, VIPs, concierge orders, guest concerns, and much more.
·Will be expected to update our Opentable system with the evening’s guest list(s), so that the 54 Below front of house staff can be fully prepared for service to start at 4:30pm everyday.
·Must be prepared to deal with Broadway talent in a calm and generous manner; will help coordinate artist and VIP seating requests.
·Will answer phones, return voicemails, and receive deliveries.
This part-time position is a great opportunity to learn in the entertainment industry and to cultivate exceptional customer service skills.
Immediate start. $11/hour Saturday and Sunday 10am-4:30pm.
