Female Actors for TAMING OF THE SHREW – Manhattan Shakespeare Project

WHO: Manhattan Shakespeare Project – Manhattan’s All-Female Shakespeare Company

SEEKING: Non-equity actors for all roles in its all-female educational tour of Shakespeare’s THE TAMING OF THE SHREW.

REQUIREMENTS: Please prepare 16 lines of Shakespearean verse and a 1-minute contrasting piece from a male character of any play.

WHEN: Auditions will be Saturday January 8th from 12-5pm and Thursday January 13th from 7-10pm, be prepared to move, must be available for a 90 min time slot. Callbacks will be Tuesday January 18th from 7-10pm, must be available for whole time. Rehearsals will be February 14-25, Mon-Fri, 10am-5pm, with a one hour lunch break. Performances will be February 28 – April 1, Mon-Fri, in New York schools.

PAY: Rehearsals $300 p/wk; $30 p/performance
