SEEKING: Actors
Ted – Late thirties/early forties, physically powerful, broad-shouldered, a gentle giant. A father and dog owner capable of protective violence. Should be extremely grounded and capable of saying a lot while saying nothing.
Buttons – Early forties (or indeterminate age), plus sized. Should possess a beautiful and flexible voice. Butch and extremely comfortable with her sexuality.
Mother – Late 40s to Early 50s, ideal mother. Looks a lot like Mrs. Walsh from an early episode of “Beverly Hills 90210” a Midwesterner who seems out of place in her own home. Sexually repressed, but not neurotic. Happily resigned to her life.
WHEN: Rehearsals begin in December, performances 1/27/11-2/5/2011
