Messed Up Here Tonight follows three close friends living on Manhattan’s Upper East Side over a long winter weekend as they attempt to put the past behind them and figure out how to live with the present.

WILLIAM DENNISON 22. Male lead. Attractive, but not sexy. Smart, responsible, fairly predictable guy. Desperately seeks the approval of those around him. Nervous, but likeable. Has an unexpected angry streak. The kind of guy that settles down.

ELLIE ASHLAND 22. Female lead. Pretty, in a sad, broken way. Smart as hell. Much of what goes on in her head stays under the surface – she is constantly thinking. Has a desire to save and be saved.

JAMES COHEN 22. Male lead. Good-looking and aware of it. William’s best friend. Impulsive, masculine energy. A smartass. Loud, uncouth, and irresistible.
